Bio

After becoming fascinated with the harp at a concert, Rosetta Lebherz began harp lessons at the youth music school in her home town of Reutlingen.
 
She was subsequently accepted into the renowned class of Prof. Xavier de Maistre and Anaëlle Tourret at Hamburg University of Music and Theatre. Here she successfully completed her Bachelor's and Master's degree. During her Erasmus programme at  Pôle Supérieur of Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional in Paris, she gained valuable knowledge and techniques from her teachers, Ghislaine Petit-Volta and Nicolas Tulliez. Rosetta is currently studying with Prof. Andreas Mildner in the postgraduate masterclass program at the Würzburg Univeristy of Music.

In addition to her studies, Rosetta Lebherz has attended numerous masterclasses with renowned harpists such as: Letizia Belmondo, Marie-Pierre Langlamet, Margit-Anna Süss, Fréderique Cambreling, Fabrice Pierre and Catherine Michel. 

Rosetta Lebherz has been honoured with several first-class awards such as the competition of the German Harpist's Association and the Collegium 21 International Harp Competition for Contemporary Music in Paris. In 2022, she took part in one of the world's largest harp competitions, the Bloomington International Harp Contest in the USA. 

Rosetta Lebherz performs as a soloist at renowned festivals in Germany, France and the Netherlands. She is regularly invited to perform in numerous orchestras, including the Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra and the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra.  She is a member of the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra, the NDR Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Bayreuth Festival of Young Artists and the Young German Philharmonic Orchestra. Since september 2024 she has been an academy member for the Oldenburg State Theatre. 

Several scholarship programmes have accepted Rosetta Lebherz, including Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes, the Franco-German Youth Office, the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Foundation Hamburg and the German Academic Exchange Service.
